Volunteer Spotlight
Bryce Birks – Bryce received the Hawk award for his outstanding contribution not only as coach of the Under 15YG team but his willingness to help around the club. Bryce would happily take other teams through training drills when required and also gave up his Saturday’s to help mark the field for game day. Bryce also was selected as Central Coast Representative coach in 2019. Bryce is the only member of our coaching staff who doesn’t have a child playing at Saratoga but volunteers his time due to his love of football and his passion for coaching and mentoring.
Lauren Rolfe – Volunteer of the Year.
Lauren made a fantastic contribution to the Saratoga Hawks on many levels. Lauren was a key party of the Auskick program with her husband Greg and coordinated and ran Auskick games. Lauren had the role of Vice President and Registrar which meant she organised the order of club uniform, merchandise, trophies and engaged sponsors through the year. Lauren took time through the year to help various teams on match day and at training. Lauren made an important impact with social media with Facebook page which was regularly updated with great material. Lauren has a fantastic can-do attitude and was a worthy winner.
