Ben McGlynn

 

At the start of 2014, McGlynn had two goals – to become a permanent midfielder and earn a place in the leadership group.

He achieved the latter early on, built on an excellent pre-season campaign, which then led to the former.

Averaging more than 20 possessions for the first time in his career, he also smashed his previous returns for tackles and clearances while still kicking 20 goals.
