Elliott Davey Medal Night Results 2019

What a thrilling night it was at the AFL Hunter Central Coast 2019 Elliott Davey Medal.  In the Granland Medal, awarded to the best and fairest player in the AFL HCC HAVAL Men’s plate competition it was Dane Amidy from Killarney all the way, recording 23 votes to finish 6 votes clear of Jacob Connor from Muswellbrook.

In the AFL HCC Hunter HAVAL Women’s best and fairest count Wallsend West Newcastle’s Kate Booth polled 3 votes in the last round to tie with Wyong Lakes Rebecca Ives who polled 2 votes in the same match. Samantha Delaney from Warners Bay had an excellent season receiving 21 votes along with Kaneesha Murray (Wyong Lakes) and Anna Fraser (Maitland) who also finished in the top 5.

In the Elliott Davey Medal count Singleton Superstar Andrew Scott received 3 votes in the final game of the season against Newcastle City to finish 1  vote ahead of the evergreen Chris Bishop from Terrigal and 2 Votes clear of Josh Mifsud from Killarney Vale.

It was a record night for Scott taking out the Elliott Davey Medal, Coaches MVP along with being named as player – coach in the AFL HCC HAVAL team of the year.
