In the coming week all AFLHCC Stakeholders will receive an email containing the information below (to their nominted email address provided in footyweb). The email will include the same information provided below, the links for the surveys are the same so please feel free to access the surveys directly via the links below ahead of emails being sent.

As a league stakeholder (clubs members, players, parents, coaches, volunteers, umpires, officials, etc) you are invited to participate in the surveys below.

These surveys will shape the future of our league – Please have your say.

Dear AFL Hunter Central Coast Stakeholders,

STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS TO DATE:

Over the last four (4) months the AFL Hunter Central Coast Board have undertaken the initial steps towards creating a strategic plan for our league. The process to date has involved;

1. Engagement of AFL HCC Clubs, NCCUA, League Umpires and Umpire Coaches, Club Coaches, Board members, AFL HCC Staff, AFL NSW/ACT and independent advisors
2. Club feedback mechanism
3. Large focus groups to review club feedback and identify pillars
4. Smaller reference groups to deep dive into pillars
5. Strategy group engagement to develop surveys

The process has now entered into the stakeholder engagement phase with eight (8) key pillars identified along with a specific survey for each. As stakeholders in our competition, you are invited to complete the surveys below to ensure you have a say in the formation of the strategic plan which will lead the direction of our league over the coming years.

The surveys above have been split into eight (8) individual surveys to provide flexibility as you can complete one (1) or more when time permits and come back later to complete others. It is encouraged to complete all eight (8), but it is not mandatory.

Please note – all survey responses are anonymous.

The survey links will remain open from today (August 27th) for a period of 2.5 weeks, closing Sunday September 15th at 5pm.

 

NEXT STEPS IN THE STATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS:

The league strategy group will convene along with reference groups to review data and set recommendations for an initial draft of the strategic plan post the survey closing on September 15th. This draft will be released to all clubs in early October with an extensive feedback process to follow. The AFL Hunter Central Coast Board envisage a formal release of the leagues final strategic plan by late October.
