AFL HCC Junior Season 2022

With the Junior season finishing up today, it is now time to move into the finals series. Thank you to all our club volunteers, players, umpires and families for their continued efforts in 2022, to have a relatively complete football season! 2022 has also thrown up some weather issues, but it’s been great to be able to get through the season and roll into finals for the first time since 2020.

 

We will be having the following finals for the below competitions

U11 Central Coast – A top 4 (Swans Finals series) and bottom 5 (giants Finals series). With the first of the Giants finals series played today (14/8).

U11 Youth Girls – top 4 finals

U11 Swans Hunter – top 4 finals

U11 Giants Hunter – top 4 finals

U13 Youth Girls – top 4 finals

U13 Swans Hunter – top 4 finals

U13 Giants Hunter – top 4 finals

Week one of finals will kick off on 21 August and games will be spread out amongst the following venues:

  • Hylton Moore Oval
  • Adelaide St Oval
  • Max McMahon Oval
  • Dick Burwell Oval
  • Hawkins Oval
  • Connolly Park

Week two venues on 28 August will be:

  • Pasterfield Sports Complex
  • Tulkaba Park
  • Rogers Park

Grand Final venues for 4 September are:

  • Bateau Bay Oval
  • Feighan Oval

The upcoming Presentation nights are being held on:

Friday 27 August for the Central Coast competitions at Wyong Leagues Club and on Wednesday 31 August for the Hunter and Combined competitions at Belmont 16’s.

There will be a team achievement award winner for each team presented on the night, there will be a chance for the rep players to receive their team photo, as well as the presentation of other League medals. Your clubs will be firming up invites this week.

 

We would like to thank everyone involved this year with our community footy clubs; from parents and players, to our hardworking club committee members and volunteers and not forgetting our brilliant Umpiring group. It is because of you all that we are able to have community footy each weekend.
