Vale David Croxton

The Gosford Tigers AFL Club are in mourning after learning the news of the shock loss of one of its greats, Former Junior President David Croxton, who passed away 18 September.

It is with the deepest and most sincere regret we announce the passing of former Junior Life member and President David Croxton as the result of a fatal accident.

David along with Mike and Christine Deitz, Lesley Richardson and Glen Allen, had a hand in developing the Gosford Tigers Junior club in the late 90’s. David coached Premiership sides for the club at U12 and U14 levels, Central Coast Representative sides as well as being President. David’s passion for AFL and the junior club was certainly the reason many young players have gone onto having success not only on the field but also off the field. David was a passionate Norwood Redlegs and Sydney Swans supporter. In the early 2000’s David and his family relocated to the Coffs Harbour region.

We are ever thankful for the football banter and friendship you brought to all at the club. David is survived by his wife and children Hayley, Joshua and Tess.

The Gosford Tigers Club as a whole would like to extend our sympathies and thoughts to family and friends.
