AFL HCC Senior Competition Structures and Season Dates

After reviewing club team nominations, the AFL HCC board has now formalised the competition structure and season dates for 2020. The approved structure is a 5 Tier competition which delivers a high level of alignment, competitive balance and a sustainable future in which the league can support the development of all clubs and players.

2020 will see the introduction of a second women’s competition (Black Diamond Plate Women’s) and a third men’s competition (Black Diamond Shield). The League appreciates the patience of all clubs and players during the process to confirm competition structures and season dates.

The league is also excited to announce the previously named AFL HCC Women’s competition will be renamed in 2020 as Black Diamond Cup Women’s.

The league is in the final stages of preparing a fixture for season 2020, a draft will be provided to clubs in the coming days. As soon as the review process has been completed, the final fixture will updated online and released on the website.

AFL HCC Social Competition: 

In addition to the above the AFL HCC Social Competition will also be running again in season 2020! The league is currently consulting with all clubs around season dates and team nominations, however, the league anticipates the Social competition will commence in late April.
