Singleton Seniors: 2019 Preview

PRESIDENT PREVIEW
After strong 2018 seasons in both the Women’s and Black Diamond Cup competitions, we are excited to keep that momentum going in 2019 and tasting finals football again.  We have a strong committee supporting our players behind the scenes and building a stronger club.

How’s Preseason going?
Preseason training has been encouraging, with strong numbers for both men and women.  We’ve had the juniors on the track with us recently, who have been great to mix with.

Biggest surprise packet in 2019?
We have a few new faces in the men’s squad from the army who look very exciting, and our u17s are really stepping up.  Biggest surprise though was definitely seeing Paul Chandler on the training track, in February no less!

Women’s football continues to attract new faces year on year, but we still have a strong core with a fair bit of experience now, and its been great to see those players helping the recruits each night with new coach Mal Draper.
