NEAFL – The Swans are coming to Newcastle!

The Sydney Swans NEAFL team will again call Newcastle’s No1 Sportsground home on Saturday 27th May at 12 noon, as the Gold Coast Suns make a visit for their round nine clash.

The Swans currently sit second on the NEAFL ladder, with the Suns Mid Table two wins behind. The Sydney side have had some big names playing in the NEAFL team of late, with Kurt Tippet, Garry Rohan and Allir Allir all starring in the Swans round seven win over the Canberra Demons. The final team for the round nine match will not be known until nearer to the day, however with the Swans winning their last two matches, some big names may be present for the match.

Entry to the match will be free for spectators, with parking available inside the ground at a cost of $4. Hosting the match in Newcastle would not be possible without the support of Newcastle City Council. AFL Hunter Coast would like to thank Council for their support in ensuring elite AFL content will again be hosted at No1 Sportsground.
