Register Now for your Local AFL Club for the 2022 Season
Looking to play AFL in 2022? Registrations are now open for all AFL clubs in the Hunter and Central Coast areas. With an offering from the introductory Auskick program through to Senior football, there is an option for all.
AUSKICK
Auskick is for players aged 5-12, if you’re new to the game, or not ready to play up in the U9’s or U11’s, register now for your local club’s Auskick program. When you register for Auskick you also receive an Auskick pack with a footy, backpack and other great goodies.

JUNIOR FOOTY
Competitions range from U9’s through to U17’s, with mixed/boys competitions or a girls only option. With club based in the Hunter and Central Coast regions, contact your closest club today for more information. Junior footy is set to start at the end of April.

SENIOR FOOTY
For anyone over the age of 16, men’s and women’s senior competitions are available, with a few clubs offering a social/masters team. The senior football season will start at the start of April.

UMPIRING
You can also sign up to become an Umpire! You can umpire at Junior or Senior level, with Junior umpiring starting from 13 years old. Stay fit, get paid and gain life skills. To register as a new umpire, re-register as an existing umpire or for more information, contact emily.brown@afl.com.au.
PLAYHQ
In 2022 all football clubs will be working off the new PlayHQ system (previously players registered with the SportsTG program). Auskick transitioned to PlayHQ in 2021 but community football will be now be moving across to PlayHQ in 2022. Below is some information to assist with your re-registration and to help you claim your old footyweb profile and complete the 2022 registration.
