Newcastle City Seeking Women’s Reserve Grade Coach

Newcastle City Australian Football Club is calling for Applications for Women’s Reserve Grade Coach for Season 2020. Competition structures have now been confirmed and NCAFC will be entering 2 Women’s Football Teams, comprising 1 team in each of the 2 AFL HCC Women’s Divisions.

Established in 1883, the Newcastle City Blues have a long and recent history of success on the field, a fantastic club spirit, an experienced committee, leadership group and support staff.

The successful candidate will have (or be willing to obtain) minimum Level 1 coaching accreditation and have recent relevant experience. Duties and priorities will include:

– Match day role as the Coach of the NCAFC Women’s Reserves Team

– Assistant Coach of the Women’s Football Squad for training and other related duties outside of match day, working closely with the Women’s Senior Team Coach, Jon Clark. Training sessions will be run as a combined squad for all NCAFC Women’s Senior Players.

– Participate in Club Functions and promotion of the Club and sport in the local community as expected of all NCAFC coaches

– Focus on facilitating pathway from junior to open-age competition

– Focus on inclusiveness and player development for new players to the sport
