West Wins Award

Northern Lakes Power’s Terry West, has taken out the 2016 Central Coast Sports Federation Volunteer of the Year Award, beating some very worthy members of many other sporting teams across the Central Coast.

The presentation was held at Mingara, on November 25, with Terry and his son, Deacon, attending.

Terry has had a wonderful year, and was recognised locally as the Central Coast Junior AFL Volunteer of the Year. Terry is also a proud Life Member of the Northern Lakes Power. Some of his roles in 2016 included Coach, Central Coast U/12 Rep Co-Coach, ground set up, ground pack up, oval maintenance, volunteer coordinator, recruitment officer and social function planner. Terry has been instrumental in the overall running of the Northern Lakes Power in 2016.

Terry was nominated by his club for this award, with the Central Coast Sports Federation Board appointing a selection panel, who voted on all categories.

On behalf of the Central Coast Junior AFL community, congratulations Terry West!
